South on Main brings contemporary takes on traditional southern dishes.
South on Main, which opened in 2013, has continued to impress as one of the city’s premier food destinations. Chef/Owner Matthew Bell and staff come from a number of award winning restaurants before starting South on Main and the experience shows. South on Main also boost our favorite restaurant bar in the city led by bar director David Burnette.
For lunch expect a variety of sandwiches, salads, soup, and light entrees. Dinner brings a full menu of seasonal entrees using local ingredients. New to the mix is Sunday brunch which has already become one of the top brunch locations across the city.
Insider tip: Keep an eye out for the music schedule at South on Main. A unique partnership with Oxford American brings local artists every Wednesday night as a part of their Local Live program. Other fantastic music acts frequently grace the stage other times of the week.Restaurant News
